FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Outdoor sessions are relaxed and fun! We’ll pick a beautiful spot, usually during the “golden hour” (an hour before sunset) for soft, flattering light. I’ll guide you through poses and activities to keep everyone comfortable and engaged. Expect a mix of posed and candid shots, and don’t worry if the kids get a little playful—that’s where the best moments happen! Just dress for the weather and bring any snacks or toys to keep little ones happy.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

I do not charge any travel fees for sessions within Skagit County. For locations outside this area, travel expenses may apply—just let me know where you’d like to shoot!

Can you recommend any good locations?

Yes, I can! I have a list of my favorite spots and can send you example pictures from each location to help you decide what fits your style best.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

We can reschedule or move to my studio location. I’ll stay in touch the day before and day of the shoot to make a plan if the weather’s tricky.
